With a practical, functional but reduced design, Gustav is an urban all-rounder built to make the lives of everyday commuters easier. A key design highlight is the built-in front rack with its clever strap system. The rack is attached to the head tube and wonโ€™t upset the balance as you steer around corners. Weโ€™ve also designed an extremely adaptable strap system for the rack, so you can be sure that anything from picnic baskets to parcels remain securely fastened. Even with heavier objects on board, Gustav glides effortlessly through the city streets and you can enjoy a smooth ride.


The new frame geometry weโ€™ve developed for Gustav uses a longer head tube and shorter stem for a more comfortable cycling position. It is possible to attach a child seat onto the seat tube, as well as a Thule trailer onto the rear axle. Wider tyres also make for a comfier ride and mean cobblestones or uneven surfaces are no longer something you need to avoid.ย

Slim but capable

I've had my old wallet for over two decades, it's warren and the edges are starting to fall apart and I thought I'd be proactive and get a new one before it was completely useless. With all the new slim minimalist designs I was intregeed. This is what I found out, at least for my needs. These new elastic card clips, are nice size wise, are not what the are advertised to be. They are small in your pocket but you need another place for the items you don't use everyday. So as far as being slim and efficient they are misleading. Unless you plan ahead you won't have what you need, say health insurance cards oops forgot them cause I don't use them everyday. Ones with cash clips or elastic bands aren't what they are cracked up to be either. To pull out a bill you need to take all the bills out unfold then and then refold the and squeeze the back in the clip, not covenant. Next I tried a bi-fold card holder with a money clip. This solved the having everything I needed even if I didn't use it everyday but still had the cash usability issue which required less folding but still needed to pull all the bills out to use. Plus it wasn't any dinner or smaller then my old wallet. Then I found this wallet, it was pretty much the same as my old one minus one card slot due to the visible ID slot. So in the end this was the perfect wallet for me. Not sure what my old wallet was as the leather is very well worn but I'm guessing it is the same brand. One other thing this wallet is not scan protected which the other slim wallets were. But you can buy cheap sleeves to place on either side to protect against this if your concerned. One benefit of not having this feature is the ability to keep your key card in your wallet and have it work. Again slim but needing multiple place for your items is not efficient, was not a fan of the carabineer I had to also carry while using the slim wallets.

This is also very sleek, has plenty of compartments for ID, cash, credit and business cards, and it is RFID blocked. I didn't realize when I purchased this that it is to be worn in the front pocket of the pant. It is a fashion made for men who don't appreciate a wallet in the back. It can be very uncomfortable and someone can easily lift the wallet out of the back pocket...So Fossil is producing this item to wear in the front for easy access and protection. It is small but no less accommodating. I showed it to one of my other son's and he wished I'd get one for him, and he is very fashion-forward, but practical. So I'm very pleased with my purchase although I haven't heard from the birthday boy yet! Also it came in the usual Fossil tin box that all their products are housed in-original with a bit of funk, perfect for any aged man.
